The health, safety and wellbeing of all children at Banks St Stephen's Primary School is paramount. A vital part of this is safeguarding and child protection. The person with overall responsibility for safeguarding is the Headteacher. If you have any concerns about safeguarding in school please contact the Headteacher, Mrs Owen, who is the DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead)
Tel: 01704 225332
We also have two trained back-up DSL's, Mrs Mussell and Mrs Tennant.
The safeguarding link governor is Mrs S Robinson, who audits our safeguarding systems and processes at least termly and reports to the Governing Board.
Online safety is a key aspect of safeguarding. Please go to the Parents section - there is an Online Safety page with more information.
