We were delighted to be awarded the coveted GOLD Sports Mark in Autumn 2022. We work closely with West Lancashire Sports Partnership and we are extremely proud of the high standard of our PE/Sport provision.

Subject Statement of Intent

Banks St Stephen’s CE Primary School seeks to provide a full, varied and interesting Physical Education curriculum which challenges, engages and excites pupils and staff alike. We see Physical Education as a vital part of the education experience as a whole. It is our intention to build a curriculum that enables children to develop knowledge, skills and vocabulary in a broad range of sporting activities, as well as developing values and transferrable life skills such as fairness and respect.
