Vision for Banks St. Stephen’s Church of England Primary School
“We actively promote a sense of pride in belonging to this community. Leading by example, we seek opportunities to serve God by serving others. We are ambitious for each individual and determined to enable every member of the school community to flourish and succeed.”

Christian Values
Our collective worship is organised around the following Christian values, which are being embedded after consultation with staff and governors and are regularly celebrated and shared with parents:
Thankfulness
Compassion
Endurance
Hope
Friendship
Service
We have four Houses - Hesketh, Fleetwood, Greaves and Scarisbrick.
British Values
All have a duty to ‘actively promote’ the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. These values were first set out by the government in the ‘Prevent’ strategy in 2011.
