Remote Learning
“Belonging, Serving, Succeeding"
Remote Learning at Banks St. Stephen’s
At Banks St. Stephen’s, we know how important it is for every child to belong — to feel
part of our school family, even when they’re learning from home. Remote learning is
only used when children can’t attend school in person, such as during closures or if
they’re unwell but able to learn.
We are here to serve our families by making sure every child has the tools they need to
learn from home, including devices and internet access. We also provide easy-to-use
lessons that follow what your child would be doing in class, with plenty of support along
the way.
Our goal is to help every child succeed by offering lessons that follow the Department
for Education (DfE) guidelines to make sure learning at home matches what your child
would be doing in school, with clear teaching, activities and regular feedback. We also
keep in touch to support your child’s wellbeing and make sure they’re engaging with
their learning
Safety is our top priority, so we follow strict online safety rules and keep a close eye on
attendance and progress, just like we do at school.
