Gardening Club, led by Miss Sykes, has been going strong during lockdown. A number of local businesses and farms donated plants and gardening equipment and we have had advice from the Royal Horticultural Society. We enjoyed a good crop of maize in the junior playground in Summer and have just planted hardy hyacinths for Spring flowering.
Generations Unite Club, led by Miss Squibb & Miss Sykes, involves a group of children visiting the local care home each week and enjoying activities with the residents. Recently during lockdown we haven't been able to visit the care home but we sent them a tree with all the children's thumb prints on it and we hope to resume the club as soon as possible.
The tree of Generation Club's thumb prints - the "Generations Unite Friendship Tree".
We look forward to resuming our normal wide range of extra curricular clubs when it is safe to do so.
